The TeacherVision Sweepstakes Spring 2007 ("Sweepstakes") begins on May 15, 2007 and ends on June 30, 2007, at 11:59 p.m. (ET) ("Sweepstakes Period"). You will be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes when you complete the mandatory fields on the Sweepstakes entry form located at https://familyeducationnetwork.rsc01.net/servlet/website/ResponseForm?MLEVTTA_aHpk_.40pkL_zPLLil_.40hkt and clicking on the "Submit" button upon completion. All entries become the exclusive property of Family Education Network ("FEN") and will not be returned. You understand that by submitting an entry you are accepting the terms of these Official Rules and agreeing to be bound by them and that any information and data you provide on the Sweepstakes entry form may be used by FEN or any co-sponsor for any purpose (see "General Conditions" below). You may enter the Sweepstakes only once during the Sweepstakes Period.

Eligibility:
The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes: (a) employees and officers of any organizations directly involved with this promotion, including any co-sponsor of the Sweepstakes; (b) employees of Pearson Education, Inc., its affiliates and subsidiaries; and (c) immediate family members and persons living in the same household as the persons identified in (a) and (b) above. Only entrants logging onto the Internet from within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. FEN reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry if it concludes that the entrant has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or has acted in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable state, federal, or local laws or regulations.

Prizes:
One Hundred (100) Grand Prize Winners will each receive one copy of Teach Like Your Hair's on Fire, by Rafe Esquith (Viking, a member of Penguin Group (USA) Inc.) The approximate retail value ("ARV") of each copy of the book is $24.95.

The aggregate ARV for all the prizes is $2,495.

Prizes may not be transferred, substituted, or exchanged except by FEN and then only for a prize of equal or greater value. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES THAT MAY ACCRUE FROM THE PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PRIZE WINNERS.

Winner Notification:
The prize winners will be selected in random drawings to be held on or about July 12, 2007 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning a prize will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. The winners will be notified on or about July 23, 2007 by email ("Winner Notice"). The Winner Notice will include information on how the winners can claim their prize. Failure to comply with any rule, regulation or limitation will result in the forfeiture of the prize, in whole or in part.

The Winner Notice may also include a copy of an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity Release ("Affidavit and Release"). If such Affidavit and Release is included with the Winner Notice, the winner must follow the procedure as stated in this paragraph - Within ten (10) days of receipt of the Winner Notice, the winners shall be required to sign, notarize and return to FEN the Affidavit and Release. The winners must provide their full name, mailing address (the mailing address may not be a PO Box) and social security number in the Affidavit and Release. Failure to sign and return the Affidavit and Release within the time requested may result in forfeiture of the prize. No responsibility is assumed for lost, stolen, late or misdirected mail. The Affidavit and Release is null and void if incomplete, not legible or if they contain errors.

Unclaimed or forfeited prizes will not be awarded.

Winner List: For a listing of the prize winners, send a self addressed, stamped envelope (VT residents may omit return postage) to: TeacherVision Sweepstakes Spring 2007, Family Education Network, 501 Boylston Street, 9th Floor, Boston, MA 02116, or email your request, including your name and address, to contests@fen.com, by no later than August 31, 2007.

General Conditions:
The Sweepstakes will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the United States. By entering this Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of FEN on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, all entrants consent to the use of their names, addresses, likeness, and any statements or comments they make in connection with the Sweepstakes (including the submission of ideas on the Sweepstakes entry form) or about FEN in general (collectively, the "Entry Info"), without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Each entrant hereby grants to FEN and each co-sponsor of this Sweepstakes, and their respective successors, assigns and licensees, the full right to use the Entry Info, or any part thereof, for any purpose as they see fit, including, without limitation, the right publish same on their respective website(s) and/or in their online newsletter, and including them as part of press releases. The entrant further acknowledges that he/she may or may not be given attribution for any Entry Info published. Entrants also consent to being contacted by FEN or any co-sponsor, or any of their respective representatives or a third party with whom they have a relationship, regarding any products and/or services.

Limitations Of Liability:
By entering the Sweepstakes, participants agree to release Pearson Education, Inc. and all co-sponsors of the Sweepstakes and their respective affiliates, parents and subsidiaries, and their respective employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, "Sponsor Entities") from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to person or property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of a prize or with participation in this Sweepstakes. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that no claim relating to such injuries, damages, or losses shall be asserted against any of the Sponsor Entities. Entrants agree that none of the Sponsor Entities shall be liable for any injury or damage to any person's computer hardware, software, or peripherals utilized in participating in the Sweepstakes. None of the Sponsor Entities are responsible for technical, hardware, software, or other communication failures of any kind, whether caused by any of the Sponsor Entities, users, or by any equipment, programming, or other cause, whether or not such failures limit an entrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. If for any reason (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes), the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these Official Rules, FEN shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes.

FEN reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, or who has acted in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable state, federal, or local laws or regulations, or is acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, FEN AND ITS AGENTS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE SUCH PERSON AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
